The event was hosted by Caring Hearts Free Clinic. Runners came from as far away as Pinnacle and Mayodan, N.C; and Martinsville, Galax, Hillsville, and Mecklenburg. This year, runners received ceramic soup bowls, notepads and other items donated by race sponsors.
