The stuffed potato bar, sponsored by the Covered Bridge Association on Friday, March 17 was very successful. Many members of the association and volunteers from the Woolwine community came together to help serve over 300 potatoes with all the fixings. About 275 meals were delivered throughout the area including to several offices in Stuart. The association is continuing to actively promote the rebuilding of the Bob White Covered Bridge which was washed away in September 2015 flood. Profit made at the potato bar will go towards that endeavor. The association’s next major activity will be the annual Covered Bridge Festival which will be held in the Woolwine community on June 17.
