Grand jurors seated in Patrick County handed down more than 40 indictments on Sept. 8, according to records in the Patrick County Court Clerk’s Office.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but a grand jury’s determination that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.
Those named in the indictments are:
*James Raymond Reel, 46, of Martinsville, six counts larceny of a firearm, and one count each burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, Feb. 7.
*David Keith Willard, 26, of Bassett, six counts larceny of a firearm, and one count each burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and destruction of property, Feb. 7.
*Wyatt Chase Smith, 28, of Ararat, one count each possession with intent to sell or distribute Sch. I or II drugs and possession of Sch. I or II drugs while possessing a firearm, Dec. 10.
*Michael Cody Soloman, 30, of Martinsville, one count each attempted robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and malicious wounding, Jan. 24.
*Summer Nicole Collins, 39, of Stuart, assault on LEO, April 16.
*Steven Lawrence Hancock, 41, of Mt. Airy, N.C., one count each possession of firearm by violent felon and possession of ammunition by felon, Dec. 21.
*Kevin Billy Lacky, 35, of Stuart, two counts possession of child pornography and one count transmission of child pornography.
*Lawarren Gregory Dillard, 31, of Martinsville, one count each attempted robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of firearm by non-violent felon, and malicious wounding, Jan. 24.
*Allie Nichole Moore, 33, of Collinsville, one count each identity fraud, conspiracy to commit identity fraud, and unauthorized use of vehicle, on or about March 11 to May 23.
*Ronnie Dale Morris, 70, of Ararat, one count each assault and battery and intimidation of a witness, March 17.
*William Tyler Pearson, 22, of Stuart, two counts grand larceny and one count burglary, on or about March 28 to March 29.
*Joshua Aaron Petty, 38, of Stuart, two counts credit card theft, April 10.
