The Patrick County High School JV softball team defeated Blacksburg 13-4 last Wednesday night.
Samantha Helms got the win on the mound.
Leading hitters were Kansas Cutchins, Danielle King, Mackenzie Belcher, Erin Keith, Jenna King and Gracen Kisamore.
“We played a solid defense and our pitching was excellent,” said Coach Megan Conner.
The Lady Cougar JV softball team’s record is 14-3.
They played Tunstall at home Tuesday.
