The Patrick County High School’s boys’ soccer team traveled to Blacksburg last Tuesday and suffered a loss to the “best team we have played all season.”
“We took one to the chin, 11-0,” said Coach Oscar Tejeda. “Blacksburg has a really good program. We were able to get some possessions going, but the ability of Blacksburg to stay poised and calm through the entire field was amazing,” he added. “They were able to finish when given the opportunity,” said Tejeda.
The Cougars were rained out for last Friday’s game against Martinsville for Senior Night.
They will play at Tunstall Tuesday and will make up Senior Night against Martinsville tonight (Wednesday).
