Please remember, Patrick County, that the Stuart November blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the John D. Hooker Building at Rotary Field.

We welcome all donors, those who will give for the first time and dedicated donors who have given before, with or without appointments.

The American Red Cross recommends donors maintain an iron-rich diet, get a good night’s sleep, and drink an extra eight ounces of water before donating.

Don’t forget to save time by answering the health-history questions on the day of the drive by visiting redcrossblood.org/RapidPass.org and print the pass or email it to your mobile device.

The November blood drive is sponsored by Vicki Bennett, New York Life agent, a first-time sponsor of the Patrick County blood drive.

If you are interested in becoming a blood drive volunteer, please stop by Rotary Field during the blood drive or call 694-0272.  Giving back to your community by volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. Thanks to our volunteers for being there for all donors.

The need is constant. The gratification is instant.

Giving blood is one of the most satisfying and rewarding acts in your lifetime.

Let’s make the November blood drive a big success!

Gene Stirewalt

Coordinator
