The Patrick County High School JV Cougar basketball team lost two games last week, falling to Martinsville 58-22, and to Bassett, 47-37.
DaeShawn Penn and Lincoln Rose each scored six points against the Bulldogs.
Jay Penn scored 15 against Bassett, and Carson Merriman added eight.
The JV boys hosted Halifax Tuesday night and will travel to Tunstall Wednesday night and Chatham Friday night.
