It’s been quite a different week with the storms, flood watches and high winds.
The mountain man said he got 12 inches of rain. In my area, we got rain, and quite a bit of wind that blew leaves off the trees. So far, we have been truly blessed to keep power.
I had a very nice lady to call me. We share a love of Amish books. God bless you and I really enjoyed talking to you.
So sorry to hear of the death of Velda Smart. Keep the family in your prayers.
Also, heartfelt sympathy to the family of Bishop James Reynolds. He was a grand gentleman and I’ve always admired him. Love and heartfelt sympathy to the family.
Hope Michael Roberts had a nice birthday and enjoyed that big cake. May the Lord bless you with many more, you are special.
After all the storms, the sun and some blue skies were most welcome. The squirrels came to life they are out of hiding and running everywhere.
Finally, the weather tamed down and the crew could work on the new garage at the church and it’s going to look good. They were really fast workers and nice and friendly.
It’s always a joy to see the Browns at church. They are so nice.
Let’s remember all the people that are affected by the floods in our prayers. Jimmy Willard of Disaster Relief started collecting supplies right away and loading a truck to go to North Carolina. He said people are coming by all day long and giving. It will be a few days before he can get in.
Mary Ann called on Thursday and we had a nice long conversation. A lot of things happening in D.C.
Remember Tanya Sawyers and family in prayers in the loss of her mother.
Food for thought – Take what others do or say seriously, but don’t over react to compensate for something you have no control over. Try not to get caught up in someone else’s gossip, meddling, and mistakes.
