The Patrick County Lady Cougar’s tennis team won 5-0 over Magna Vista in the first round of the Piedmont District Tournament on May 8.
Magna Vista forfeited fifth seeds Singles match as well as third seed Doubles match.
Madison Wright defeated Hannah Nance 8-3, Emily Wood defeated Celia Shively by forfeit, and
Caroline Vernon defeated Anastasia Reynolds 8-3.
In singles, PC is now 3-0.
