The Patrick County Sheriff’s Department has implemented a Senior Citizen Call-In Program for elderly individuals living alone. Under the free program, senior citizens call the sheriff’s department each morning before 9 a.m. to report that they are not sick or injured. If the call is not received, the dispatcher will call the senior citizen and send someone to the home if necessary.
