Dannie Lee Harris, 71, of Appalachian Drive, Martinsville, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at his residence.
He was born in Patrick County and was a son of the late Freida Nester Harris and Lloyd Harris.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Harris of the home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2 p.m. at West Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
