Nancy Jo Smith, 84, of Stuart, passed on August 21, 2019 at Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA, She was born on August 21, 1935 to the late Margaret Gladden Walker and Charles Walker, In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Curtis Smith, one daughter Sandra J. Wilson, two brothers Kenneth Walker, Edward Walker, and two sisters; Letha Bingham and Hazel Walker. She retired from Bassett Walker Knitting Company and was a member of Morgan Ford Christian Church.
Four sons survive her; Danny M Wilson of Kings Mountain, N.C., Randy E. Wilson of Colorado, Scott Wilson of Atlanta, Ga., and Wayne Perkins, Jr. of Callands; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Norris Funeral Services Stuart Chapel. Pastor Robert Garland officiated.
