The Varsity PCHS Golf Team travelled to James River for a nine-hole match on September 11. Patrick County came out on top with a score of 166. James River shot a 189. Wesley Roberson led PC with a 39, followed by Jalen Hagwood with a 40, David Smith with a 41, and Garrett Leftwich with a 46. Coach Phillip Steagall said, “We had a very solid team score today on a course very few of the players had ever been on. We are playing really well right now to have as young of a team that we do. We just need to continue to work hard on our putting and chipping in the upcoming weeks.”
