The Patrick County High School boys’ soccer team lost two matches last week, being shut out by Hidden Valley 8-0 Monday night and losing to Martinsville 6-1 Friday night.
In Friday’s match, Jordan Dalton scored the only goal for the Cougars.
“We have struggled to put a whole game together, and we have made many costly errors,” said Coach Oscar Tejeda. “The scores to all of our matches do not represent the team that we have,” he said.
The Cougars played at Magna Vista Monday night. Tournament action will begin next week.
