The 52nd Annual Floyd County Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6, at Floyd County High School in Floyd.
Festival hours have changed this year and are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
More than 160 craftsmen will display their handcrafted items, and locally grown pumpkins and apples, along with homemade jams, jellies, and relishes. The Floyd County High School Band Boosters is providing food concessions in the high school cafeteria and a variety of food vendors will be scattered throughout the festival grounds. Vendors will be located in both school gyms and throughout the school lawns. There is no admission charge to the public for the festival or parking.
To avoid traffic congestion, shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day from outlying parking areas. When coming in on Virginia 8 from Christiansburg, watch for signs at Citizens Telephone Coop, the Floyd County Courthouse parking lot and the Skyline National Bank lots in town.
Floyd County High School is a No Smoking facility. Pets are not allowed, only service dogs are permitted on school grounds and buses. No exceptions. For more information, call (540) 250-8486 or visit https://floydcountywomansclub.org.
GFWC Floyd County Woman’s Club is a non-profit organization and sponsors this event. The proceeds from the festival go back into the community and neighboring counties to support various worthwhile projects.
