The Patrick County Tourism Office invites everyone to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Dan River Park in Ararat at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 19.
The event will be held on the grounds of the recently completed park in the Dan River District.
“Come out and experience our new trail, our park and our beautiful scenery,” stated a news release from Joseph Quesenberry, tourism and marketing director.
Speakers will begin at 10 a.m., to be followed by a brief tour and concluding remarks.
The address of the park is 619 Raven Rock Road, Ararat, Va. 24053.
