obit Boyd, Hattie 3Hattie Louise Boyd, 90, of Patrick Springs, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the Blue Ridge Rehab in Martinsville.
Louise was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., on February 27, 1926, the daughter of the late William Daniel Hudson and the late Eleanor Hutson Hudson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Calvin Boyd and brother, William Daniel “W. D.” Hudson Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Calvin Eugene Boyd and wife Sue and Daniel “Danny” Isaac Boyd, both of Bassett; two daughters, Robin Boyd Anthony and husband Ed of Patrick Springs and Kim Boyd Felts and husband Eddie of Oak Island, N.C.; three grandchildren, Jason Douglas Boyd, Sharon Boyd Francis and Adrienne Anthony Hiatt; three great-grandchildren, Amber Boyd, Dustin Boyd and Dylan Boyd; two sisters, Jean Hudson Bussey of Rocky Mount and Ethel Hudson Dillon of Patrick Springs.
The funeral service was conducted Monday in the Critz Baptist Church with Pastor Allan Vass officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
