Juanita Brooks Allen, 85, of Blue Ridge Nursing Home, Stuart, died Friday, May 27, 2016.
She was born October 9, 1930 to the late Sally Reynolds Brooks. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Allen, who owned and operated Allen’s Produce.
She was a graduate of Martinsville High School and was active in the SPCA and the Democratic Party. She worked for Lee and Sprint Telephone Company for 42 years, and was a member of Kearfott Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by a very special friend, Ann Jordan Hall.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 31, at Oakwood Cemetery, with Kelly Ratcliff officiating.
