Mr. Kim Brian Roberson, age 46 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Yadkin County.  He was born in Patrick County on February 25, 1973, and was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Williams Roberson, and his twin brother, Kevin Brent Roberson.  He had worked for Ten Oaks for the last ten years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for the past seven years.  Kim was an avid hunter and Duke fan.  He had a great faith and love for God and family.  He found the love of his life, Annika Smart, over a year ago and was planning a future with her.  He loved spending all his spare time with her, especially anything to do with nature and looking up at the stars in the sky.

Kim is survived by his two daughters, Melanie Renea Roberson of Stuart and Maria Paige Roberson of Moneta; his girlfriend, Annika Smart of East Bend, North Carolina; his father, Johnnie B. Roberson of Stuart; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Smith of Ararat; a brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Shannon Roberson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Trea Nowlin, Jon Nowlin, Dallas Roberson, Brooke Roberson and Taylor Smith Pruitt; a special aunt, Nancy Hubbard of Stuart, and special friends, Buddy and Imener Peyton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Chad Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of his aunt, Nancy Hubbard.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an account that will be set up at Carter Bank & Trust for the future expenses of his daughters.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
