The Patrick County Music Association is hosting a hot lineup of performers to melt away the wintertime blues.
Denny Alley, organizer of the PCMA, said a plethora of talented individuals are scheduled to take the stage at the Feb. 22 show. Each performer is sure to “get your foot tappin,'” he said.
“I’m real excited about the lineup. We have musicians coming from Tobaccoville and Eden, N.C. , and we will be holding our first open mic night of 2020,” Alley said of the lineup that will include musicians such as By Grace at 6 p.m. and Sunrise Shadow, scheduled to perform at 7 p.m.
The PCMA hosts an array of artists every month, “so you are bound to hear something you like,” Alley said.
The next PCMA music night is set for March 21, and is to feature Jus’ Cauz along with Lynn Foddrell and Friends. Other special events this year include a guitar fest, opry and mandolin night, and much more.
The show will be held at the Rotary Building, 420 Woodland Drive in Stuart. Doors open at 4:45 p.m.
Bring a chair. A donation is requested for admission. Concessions will be available at the show.
Alley said the Patrick County Shooting Education Team is sponsoring the event.
If gospel music doesn’t float your boat, performers stop by the Coffee Break each Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., to hone their craft. Alley said to make sure to stop by regularly and grab a pamphlet to keep up with shows and events by the PCMA.
