Patrick County Public Schools announced Benjamin “Adam” Carter will serve as the Principal of Hardin Reynolds Memorial School, effective July 1, 2020.
Carter has a Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education with a concentration in Mathematics and Social Studies from Winston-Salem State University and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. He taught Mathematics at North Stokes High School for two years. He served as Athletic Director and taught Mathematics and Social Studies at Piney Grove Middle School for two and a half years. Carter has taught Mathematics and Science at Meadows of Dan Elementary School for two years where he also serves as Math Facilitator.
Carter has a strong desire to build on the success at HRMS while creating a school culture where all students are supported in an engaging learning environment. He looks forward to building strong relationships with all members of the school and the local community.
