Masks are still required in public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and local businesses also are following that guideline, according to the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, which is encouraging customers to be respectful of local businesses.
“The state has sent notifications that they could have their license pulled if found in violation of the (mask) policy,” the chamber stated in a release.
Many national retailers also currently are enforcing a mask for entry, and some will provide one.
In Patrick County, the chamber noted that Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Virginia ABC store and many other local stores have implemented a “No Mask, No Entry” policy.
