Due to the pandemic situation, the Patrick County Long Term Care Committee will host the annual Senior Health Fair on WHEO this year. Each Wednesday in October, tune into 1270 AM or 92.7 FM at 8:30 a.m. to enjoy a topic pertinent to seniors.
Schedule: October 7: Fire Safety in the Home – Terry Dalton, Stuart Volunteer Fire Dept.; October 14: Senior Scams – Thomas Walker, Edward Jones; October 21: What You Need to Know about Alzheimer’s – Annette Clark, Alzheimer’s Association; and October 28: Telehealth and Knowing How to Speak to Your Doctor – Megan Radford, Patrick County Family Practice.
Call in questions will be taken and prizes given away to callers.
