The American Red Cross Blood Drive for this month will be held December 8 at Rotary Field from 11-5. The sponsor for December is Stuart United Methodist Church.
The Red Cross urges donors to drink plenty of water before donating and getting plenty of rest the day before.
During this “giving” time of the year, donating blood to someone you don’t know is right up there in the Best Gift category.
The Red Cross notified me one time following a donation, that my unit had gone to two children and a woman. Can’t give a better gift than that! Ever!
