Mrs. Illa Mae Quesinberry Hall

Mrs. Illa Mae Quesinberry Hall, 95, of Ararat, VA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection.  Mrs. Hall was born in Carroll County, VA,  May 20, 1925 to the late Waller and Gillie Hendrick Quesinberry.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Warren Hall, a son, Jerrold Hall; sisters, Pauline Wood, Gladys Puckett, Beulah Sowers, and Glennis Bowman; brothers, Hayden, Herbert, Cecil, and Clive Quesinberry.  She was a faithful servant of God and charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Claudville, VA.  She was the church treasurer for over 40 years.  She enjoyed quilting for her hobby.  She was also an excellent cook especially her fried apple pies, which she enjoyed sharing with friends and family.  She retired from Perry Manufacturing CO., and then worked for Hall’s Plants as a transplanter for many years.  Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Dorothy Hall; granddaughters, Sheila Boyd and husband Rodney, Stacey Arrington and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jill Boyd; Caleb, Cameron, and Kristen Arrington, and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Hall will lie-in-state at Trinity Baptist Church on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 12:30 until 2:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held at the church at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Chad Harrison and Rev. Rick Byerly officiating.  For anyone that would like to attend the service but remain outside, audio will be provided by tuning into FM 87.9 on your radio.  Burial will follow at Doe Run Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Christian School, P.O. Box 160, Claudville, VA 24076.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
