The family of Joe and Amanda Anderson held its reunion on July 2 at the Ararat Ruritan Building. The reunion is held every two years.
There were 50 people present from Ararat, Claudville, Stuart, Patrick Springs, Meadows of Dan and Norfolk, Va.; Pfafftown, Newton, and Dunn, N.C.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Florida, Texas and South America.
Dorothy Anderson Setzer celebrated her 92nd birthday July 21. She is the oldest child living, and the middle child of nine siblings: Austin, Essie, Ossie, Raleigh, James, Dorothy, Joe Bill, Roy and Pauline (Polly).
