Lynwood Lee Duck Sr., age 61, died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Highland Springs, Va., on July 24, 2016.
He was born June 11, 1955 in Richmond and was a son of the late Frank Richard Duck Sr. and Mattie Gae Mize Duck, who were formerly of Patrick County. He was also preceded in death by his wife Debby.
Surviving are one son, Lynwood Lee Duck Jr., and a stepdaughter, Ashley, of the home; two brothers, Frank R. Duck Jr. and Jeffrey Duck, both of Highland Springs; and several nieces and nephews; and relatives in Henry and Patrick Counties.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Olivia Faye Harris, age 58, of Patrick Springs, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Martinsville on April 19, 1958 to the late Ira and Ava Lee Lovins Lawless. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Leigham Hankins; and two brothers, Lee Haynes Shelhorse and Raymond O’Dell Lawless.
Surviving are one daughter, Shelby Darlene Harris and husband, Steve Stanley of Stuart; four sons, Ray Trent and wife Malissa Trent of Patrick Springs, David Trent and wife Jessica Coleman Trent of Claudville, Jason Lee Harris of Patrick Springs, and Bruce Harris of Stuart; her second husband, David Harris; her boyfriend, Paul Kinney; two brothers, Carl Danny Shelhorse Sr. of Patrick Springs and Allen Lawless and wife Barbara of Figsboro; three sisters, Victoria Lurenda Cassell and husband Sammy Cassell Sr. of Fieldale, Freeda Ann Haskins of South Carolina and Almeida Mullins of Stuart; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 6, at 3 p.m. at Abiding Grace Holiness Church with Brother Jamie Stokes officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.
