Thirty-five members of the first graduating class of Patrick County High School gathered August 20 at the Historic Star Theater in downtown Stuart to celebrate their 45th reunion.
The Class of 1971 was composed of seniors from the five county schools and together, brought a togetherness and sense of pride of the “new” consolidated high school that has carried on ever since.
In the 45 years, the class has lost 15 members who were honored during the program.
Class members thank the Star Theater group for a wonderful nostalgic place to have its reunion. It brought back memories for many of us. They also thank Kelly Baliles, the caterer, for a delicious meal. Everyone is looking forward to the 50th reunion in 2021.
