The Spring Demolition Derby, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Stuart and Patrick County Tourism, was deemed a successful venture, organizers said.
The night had it all, from Southern Rock by the band Remedy, to the Power Wheels Derby for our young “drivers in training,” and an exciting contest for the King of Demolition.
The top drivers in Heat 1 were Braeden Morrison, Tommy DeHart, Gavin Worley and Baily Holt.
In Heat 2, they were Justin Walker, Ricky Kimball, Donnie Fisher and Jeff Crosby.
Six-cylinder drivers were Chris Boyd, Chad McDowell and Kevin Rotrock.
Four-cylinder were Courtney Price, Brandon Haymore, Luke Rudder.
Feature drivers/winners were Braeden Morrison, Donnie Fisher and Tommy DeHart.
The Patrick County Agricultural Fair Demolition Derby will be held in September.
