Surry Community College will be offering the Nail Technician Manicurist class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 17 through Dec. 9, from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The first class will meet at the Yadkin Center, 1001 College Drive, Yadkinville. The remaining classes will meet at Surry Community College, 630 S. Main Street, Dobson. Labs will meet in person and lectures will meet online.
The Nail Technician/Manicurist curriculum is designed to prepare students to become a licensed Nail Technician in North Carolina. The course provides competency-based knowledge, scientific/artistic principles, and hands-on fundamentals associated with the nail technician industry.
The curriculum provides a simulated salon environment which enables students to develop manipulative skills. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Tuition assistance may be available.
