Mrs. Linda Smart Conner, age 77 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her home. She was born in Patrick County on July 20, 1944 to the late James Blain Smart and Belle Rakes Smart. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Dollarhite, Helen Light, Wavie Rakes, and a brother, Gilmer Smart. She was a member of Stuart Baptist Church. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and Nanny Lin Lin.
Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Marvin Conner, a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Mabe (Ronnie) of Lawsonville, NC; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Conner (Kim) of Stuart; two grandchildren, Conner Mabe and Caroline Mabe; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Thomas Walker officiating. Burial will be held in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
