A group of parents and youngsters gathered at the Patrick County Courthouse in Stuart on Thursday to protest any vaccine mandate, or “forced vaccines, whether in school or not.”
On Saturday, a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Louisiana temporarily blocked the federal vaccine rules for private employers.
Companies with at least 100 employees must require unvaccinated employees to wear masks inside by Dec. 5. Companies with 100 or more employees have until Jan. 4 to start weekly testing or mandate COVID-19 vaccinations.
