Randy Lee Hiatt, 58, of Ararat, died Sunday, October 9, 2016, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born in Surry County, N.C., on August 2, 1958. He was a member of Blues Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Nichols Hiatt of the home; step sons and wife, Darel and Jodie Hodges of Mt. Airy, Darin and Sharron Hodges of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; sisters, Debra Edwards of Mount Airy, N.C., and Shannon Hiatt of Roanoke.
A graveside service will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Blues Grove Baptist Church with Pastors Travis Sechrist and Sammy Lawson officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Blues Grove Baptist Church.
