Mrs. Virginia Ann Philpott, age 75 of Spencer, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, in Rocky Mount. She was born in Franklin County on November 9, 1946, to the late Alfred Crowe and Christine Manley Crowe Cooley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Crowe. Virginia Ann attended Mill Creek Baptist Church in Henry. She loved traveling and Nascar.
Surviving is her husband, Roger Philpott, Sr. of the home; one son, Roger Philpott, Jr. of Henry; one grandson, Austin Philpott and special friend, Taylor Edwards; one brother, Eddie M. Crowe of Horsepasture; and several other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Brim officiating.
