Patrick County High School and the Colonel Abram Penn DAR Chapter recognized Suzanne Gonzalez as the recipient of the DAR Good Citizenship Award, which includes a monetary award, as well as a Jefferson Cup and frameable certificate.
A recent graduate, Suzanne stayed busy during her high school career with Varsity Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Color Guard teams during her years at Patrick County High School, while being in the gifted program and Senior Beta Club.
She is recognized for her kindness and helpfulness with others. She plans to attend the University of Virginia this fall in pursuit of a BS degree in chemistry and/or biology, anticipating a career in the medical field after UVA. She is looking forward to this next chapter of her life.
