The PCHS Varsity Volleyball Team won the first round of the Piedmont District Tournament Thursday, October 20. Patrick County hosted Halifax for the second time in a week, defeating the Lady Comets 23-25, 25-11, 25-16, and 25-18. Samantha Harris had 15 kills, 14 digs, and 2 aces. Kaylee Towler had 10 kills, 9 digs, and 6 aces. Lilly Byers had 30 assists, 9 digs, and 2 aces. Journey Moore 32 digs, 3 aces, and 2 assists. Marissa Bentley added 6 kills, 4 blocks, 2 assists, and 5 aces.
