The Patrick County Master Gardeners held their first fall native plant sale on October 8. The sale was to raise funds and help the group to build awareness of the importance of native plants.

The $470 proceeds from the plant sale were donated to the Patrick County Branch of the Blue Ridge Regional Library. The library has been a great partner with the Master Gardeners in the Books, Blooms and Bugs Children’s Garden, the Seed Library and others.

Visit the Master Gardeners at the Stuart Farmers’ Market on October 28 to learn about local trees and nuts.
