The PC Girls Tennis Team split a double header with Carroll County, Friday, May 10th.
In Match 1, PC defeated CC 5-4. In Singles, Cecilia Leon Cisneros (PC) defeated Emma Vernon 9-7, Katie Vernon (PC) was defeated by Erika McKenzie 3-8, Shyanne Holt (PC) was defeated by Alexis Boatman 4-8, Aaliyah Reynolds (PC) was defeated by Maiya Caudill 5-8, Dylan Barker (PC) defeated Tiffany Cruise 8-1, and Brooke Collins (PC) defeated Hallie Akers 8-1. In Doubles, PC took a 2-1 win. Cecilia Leon Cisneros/Katie Vernon were defeated by Emma Vernon/Erika McKenzie 4-8,
Shyanne Holt/Aaliyah Reynolds defeated Alexis Boatman/Maiya Caudill 8-4, and
Dylan Barker/Brooke Collins defeated Tiffany Cruise/Hallie Akers 8-1. In the 2nd match, CC defeated PC 5-2. In Singles, Cecilia Leon Cisneros (PC) was defeated by Emma Vernon 3-8, Katie Vernon (PC) was defeated by Erika McKenzie 2-8, Shyanne Holt (PC) was defeated by Alexis Boatman 3-8, Aaliyah Reynolds (PC) was defeated by Khloe Akers 4-8, Dylan Barker (PC) defeated Maiya Caudill 8-3, and Brooke Collins (PC) defeated Tiffany Cruise 8-2. In Doubles, Shyanne Holt/Aaliyah Reynolds (PC) were defeated by Alexis Boatman/Khloe Akers 2-8.
The Lady Cougars ended their season 4-12 and began regional play May 20th at Radford University.
