The community food truck will be at Woolwine SRRS from 3-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 5
The Woolwine Methodist Church will be making apple butter, and there will be a yard sale in the social hall beginning at 9 a.m.
Jeb Stuart Volunteer Rescue Squad will hold a community breakfast from 7:30-10 a.m. at its building. Plates are $8 and dine in, carry out, and curb service options are available. Orders can be placed by calling (276) 694-6171.
The Patrick County Patriots, a nonprofit agency, will have an open house starting at 6 p.m., at their building in Stuart, located at 113 Via Ave. (beside the school bus garage).

The Patrick County Food Bank will hold distribution at the Stuart site from 8:30-11 a.m. and from 5-6: 30 p.m., at Ararat starting at 8:30 a.m., and at Meadows of Dan starting at 5:30 p.m.

The community food truck will be at Fairystone VFD from 3-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 26
A Trunk or Treat event will be held at Woolwine I.C. DeHart Park, 2631 Charity Highway, Woolwine, from 5-7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Patrick County Patriots.
