Beginning Monday, October 7, a portion of Virginia 626 (Abram Penn Highway) will be closed to through traffic from 0.50 mile from Virginia 701 (Stella Road) to 0.20 mile from Virginia 810 (Hollandsworth Drive) for a bridge repair over North Mayo River.
Weather permitting, the road will reopen to traffic on Thursday, October 31.
A detour and directional signs will be used to help motorists.
