The Patrick County Republican Committee meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Motorsports Hall of Fame at Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC).
Friday, Nov. 22
Patrick County High School (PCHS) freshmen, sophomores, junior, and senior boys will face off at 7 p.m. to determine the King of the Court in Volleyball for 2024. Admission is $5 and concessions will be available.
Saturday, Nov. 23
New Hope Community Church, 1863 Clark House Farm Road, Stuart, will host music by Michael Fain starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments follow.
Home Alone Thanksgiving Meal – If you are unable to have a Thanksgiving meal, join Hunter’s Chapel Assembly for a Thanksgiving dinner. The church is located at State Route 104, Ararat, from 4-6 p.m. Takeout orders will be available. Deliveries can be made in the Ararat area only. If you plan to attend, call (276) 251-7232. A Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the Meadows of Dan Community Building from 4-6 p.m. Organized by Faith Baptist Church, the meal is free to everyone. Those unable to drive may call Katlyn Boyd at 2776-694-9708 to be added to the home delivery list.
