Coach Grace Helms said, “I am proud of my girls. We are growing every day. We lost to Stokes last time by 13 points. She has an older team with 10th graders. I am proud of my 8th and 9th graders. We will keep working hard. I love that they kept a positive attitude, shared the ball, and their confidence in themselves and their teammates is growing. We are playing team ball and I couldn’t be prouder. The scoreboard said we lost, but I felt like it was a win for me as a coach. We met most of my goals for individual players and team goals. Just need to polish a few skills.”
