Waders & Waddlers Education Station will be at the Virginia Museum of Natural History from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include Be a Science Sleuth – activity for kids, Meet a Philpott Lake Park Ranger and learn “Why we don’t feed crackers to ‘quackers’ and more, and the first public view of waterfowl specimens from the museum vault. The Patrick Springs Ruritan Club will hold a Poor Man’s Supper from 4-7 p.m. at the Patrick Springs Park building in Patrick Springs. The meal includes pinto beans, potatoes, corn bread, dessert, and a drink for $9.
Fellowship and music, featuring Two Young, Two Old, New Hope Community Church, 1863 Clark House Farm Road, Stuart, 7 p.m. Refreshments to follow singing. All are invited.

Debbie Bennett performs at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Patrick Springs, 4 p.m. A love offering will be taken. Ice cream social to follow.
Stuart Baptist Church will host a special evening of uplifting music, starting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a blend of bluegrass and southern gospel music performed by Whosoever, The Joyful Noise, and FourforOne. Cookies and coffee will be served during intermission.

The DMV Connect Mobile Unit will be at the Patrick Henry Community College Site, 212 Wood Brothers Dr., Stuart, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Closed for lunch 12:30 -1:30 p.m. This event is open to the public for Driver transactions, with no appointment needed.
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Lunch & Learn at 12 p.m. in Room 103 at the Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Stuart site. The workshop will focus on Succession Planning and it’s free. Registration is available at www.patrickchamber.com.

Creasey’s Chapel will hold a BINGO! Games, Food, Prizes. Doors open at 4 p.m., bingo starts at 5 p.m. $25 for 20 cards, 10 door prize tickets and 1 coverall.

The annual Patrick County Tourism Summit will be held at the Star Theatre. Registration is at 8: 30 a.m., and people should RSVP by March 31. Lunch will be provided.

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Lunch & Learn at 12 p.m. at the Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Stuart site. The workshop will focus on pre-venture planning for entrepreneurs and it’s free.

Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group LLC is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During opening hours an inside yard sale is open to the public. Proceeds from the yard sales are used to purchase supplies. Members meet on the first Monday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Alzheimer’s office, located on Wood Brothers Drive, in the basement of Hills Tax Service. New members are welcome.
