None of the Above will headline the Patrick County Music Association (PCMA) show on Saturday, March 22, at the Rotary Building in Stuart. Doors open at 5 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m.

PCMA President Denny Alley described None of the Above as a Surry County-based group known for playing a wide variety of music.
“They’re really a good band. I mean, they all have the ear monitors like the Lonesome River Band, where they can hear and play, walk around through the audience,” Alley said.
The event will also feature a performance by Johnny & Wendy Dearmon.
“They’ve been playing and singing all their life. Johnny can sit there on a stool and play for three days and never sing the same song—any kind of music you want,” Alley said, adding that the duo will play “anything under the sun” during their set.
Both Johnny and Wendy Dearmon participated in PCMA’s Songwriter’s Circle Series last year.
Alley said PCMA has three more monthly shows scheduled, along with a Songwriter’s Circle Series event on May 17 at the Star Theatre, before taking a summer break. The monthly shows are set to resume in October.
He estimated that 200-250 people attended the February show.
Concessions will be available for purchase from the Patrick County Shooting Education Team, with proceeds supporting firearm safety education for local youngsters.
