The Patrick County 4-H Share the Fun Talent Show was held March 7 at Patrick County High School in Stuart.
Abigail Disharoon won the overall award and was the dance category winner in the junior division with her dance performance. Taylor Spangler won the vocal category award in the junior division with her vocal performance. Easton Hall won the variety category award in the junior division with his Tae Kwon Do performance. Etta Owens won the drama category award in the junior division with her drama performance.
In the junior division, Abigail Disahroon from Hardin Reynolds Memorial School received a blue ribbon for her dance performance to “Roxi” from the musical Chicago. She was chosen to move to the area competition to be held on Saturday, May 3 in Floyd. Abigail will be competing in the dance category at the Area Contest.
In the junior division, Taylor Spangler from Stuart Elementary School received a blue ribbon for her vocal performance to “Sunday Sermons” by Anne Wilson. She was chosen to move to the area competition to be held on Saturday, May 3 in Floyd. Taylor will be competing in the vocal category at the Area Contest.
In the junior division, Easton Hall from Meadows of Dan Elementary School received a blue ribbon for his Tae Kwon Do performance. He was chosen to move to the area competition to be held on Saturday, May 3 in Floyd. Easton will be competing in the variety category at the Area Contest.
In the junior division, Etta Owens from Hardin Reynolds Memorial School received a blue ribbon for her drama performance “Coat of Many Colors.” She was chosen to move to the area competition to be held on Saturday, May 3 in Floyd. Etta will be competing in the drama category at the Area Contest.
Also competing in the variety category, Banner Davis and Chet Perdue, from Meadows of Dan Elementary School, were awarded a red ribbon for their comedy skit “Chicken- Foot.” Competing in the dance category, Paige Ragsdale from Stuart Elementary School was awarded a blue ribbon for her dance performance to “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
We appreciate our judges Phyllis Eastridge and Anna Lester for joining us at the talent contest. Mistress of Ceremonies included Presley Combs and Rain Davis. This show would not be possible without our Elementary School Talent Show managers, sound engineers, judges, and emcees. We are truly thankful for the support of all the faculty, staff, and parents at each elementary school that make this show possible.
