A Stuart man died Saturday following a single-vehicle crash, according to the Virginia State Police.
Master Trooper R.E. Dillon is investigating the crash that occurred at 10:10 a.m. on February 18.
Then, a 1997 Honda CRV was traveling north on Virginia State Route 835, less than a mile south of U.S. Route 58, when it ran off the left side of the road, according to state police. The vehicle struck a highway sign and then stuck an air conditioning unit adjacent to a Pioneer Community Hospital building.
The driver, Beau J. Beasley, 36, was transported to Pioneer Community Hospital of Stuart, where he died a short time later.
Beasley was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, according to police reports.
