Varsity Volleyball Gets Road Loss

The Lady Cougar Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to James River on Thursday, September 25, losing in 5 sets with set scores 12-25, 25-17, 25-30, 21-25, and 16-18. Jayden Callahan had 14 kills and 16 digs. Sydney Tatum had 12 kills and 6 blocks. Camille Gonzalez had 27 assists, 4 kills, and 13 digs. Journey Moore had 8 kills, 20 digs, and 2 aces. The Lady Cougars are 5-4 in the season.

 

JV Volleyball Gets Two Wins

The PCHS JV Volleyball Team hosted Glenvar, Tuesday, September 23, winning in two sets 25-10 and 25-21. Bailey Thompson led the way with 4 kills, 9 digs, and 2 aces. Reese Thornton had 3 kills, 4 digs, and 5 aces. Kaylene Garcia had 5 digs. Meredith Wood had 9 assists, and Addy Foley had 5 assists. Thursday, September 25, the Lady Cougars traveled to James River High School, winning 2-0 with set scores of 25-18 and 26-24. Sheyan Lester led with 7 kills and 2 blocks. Madi Martin had 5 kills. Bailey Thompson had 3 kills and 12 digs, and Horton had 5 kills, 7 digs, and 5 aces. The JV Cougars are 8-1 in the season.
