The DMV Connect will be inside the Stuart site of Patrick & Henry Community College from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Patrick Community Food Bank will distribute food boxes from 8:30-11 a.m. and again at 5-6:30 p.m. at 108 Commerce Street, from 8-10 a.m. at Fellowship Church in Ararat, and from 5:30 p.m. until all boxes are gone at the Community Building in Meadows of Dan. Mobile Museum Experience. The Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission will bring the traveling museum to Patrick County, in conjunction with the Town of Stuart’s Apple Dumpling Festival. The travelling museum, housed in an expandable tractor trailer, will be parked at 140 South Main Street, Stuart, with interactive exhibits, engaging storytelling, and innovative technology. Free and designed to appeal to a wide audience, including families, students, history enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about Virginia’s role in the American Revolution. Visit the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience at the Apple Dumpling Festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Limited to pedestrian foot traffic only.

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Patrick & Henry Community College will hold a How to Establish Business Credit workshop from 12-1 p.m. at the Patrick County site. The cost is $15.
The Patrick County Library will hold the “Homeschool Bookworms” meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m. This is an informal meeting for homeschool children age 6 and up to come to the library to learn about the elements of stories and also learn presentation skills. Providence United Methodist Church men’s group in Patrick Springs will hold a community breakfast 7:30-10 a.m., with bacon, sausage, eggs, apples, gravy, and biscuits. Donations will help fund local mission projects. The food pantry will be open for those who are in need of non-perishable foods. The Patrick County Master Gardeners will follow the community breakfast with an educational workshop in the church fellowship hall.
Fall Festival from 4-7 p.m. at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church on Spring Road, Patrick Springs, with hotdogs, hayrides, trunk or treat, a bouncy house, and carnival games.
