The Pride of Patrick County traveled to Wytheville, Saturday, October 11, to compete in the 46th Annual George Wythe Band Festival. The band and guard competed against nine other bands, bringing home the coveted Band of the Day.
Their award-winning show, “Advant Garden,” was written by PCHS Band Director, Mr. Joseph Whitt, and showcases the talents of band members and 21 Color Guard members.
In addition to Band of the Day, they were named Class 5A Best in Class and received 1st Place in Color Guard, General Effects, Visual, and 2nd Place in Drum Major, Percussion, and Music.
