Patrick County High School will hold a college information session in the cafeteria on Tuesday, March 14, at 5:30 p.m.
The session is geared toward high school juniors, but is open to anyone considering applying to college. Included is how to choose a college, paying for college, and what to expect during the application process.
“Lots of juniors are likely still undecided as to what they’re doing after high school. Even the students who do have plans for what they want to do likely need help with many of the steps toward achieving their goals,” said Lindsey Rosenthal, PCHS college advisor. “College night is an overview of the senior year timeline, key components to the application and financial aid process, and provides an opportunity for students to start those conversations with their families before decision time comes next year.
Attendees will be treated to pizza. Students in grades 9 through 12 are eligible to enter drawings for three $500 scholarships.
